I also hope that this month at home hasn't made you get rusty on your music skills. I'll try to remedy that! I've packed a lot into this weeks' lesson. Don't feel you have to do everything. Choose those activities that interest you the most. Or do everything. It's up to you. I found a great website with some fun music games. Click on this link https://musicplayonline.com/ and you will see the games on the right hand side. I especially want you to try out "Which Melody do you Hear" levels 4,5 or 6. Now scroll down to "Rhythm Racing" . Try the level that will get you the most right answers. If you want a challenge, try the next level up and see how you do. Write me a comment below. Tell me what game was the easiest for you? Which game or level was hard? Did you "ace" all the answers? Play with a parent and keep score. Who won? Let me know all about it. Song of the MonthI decided to have the same song of the month for grades 1-5. It's a song you are already familiar with, but I found this video to make it more challenging for 3rd, 4th and 5th. There is a cup game to play along. Or you could play the note ostinato on your recorder, or piano. Give it a try. How did you do? Were you able to keep up with the cup routine and sing at the same time? I'll admit, I found it challenging. Recorder SongsDon't put that recorder away yet! Here is a new song for you to learn. Give it a try. If you want to send me a video of your performance, I would love that! Need more of a challenge? Here is a song that uses B,A, G and High C and High D Don't forget to leave a comment below.
